This American soul and R&B singer-songwriter, composer, and record producer does not only turn heads when she walks down the red carpet in her signature monochromatic looks, but has also won our hearts with her unique and spectacular sense of style and influence on black women. 
Janelle Monáe is known for her men-inspired style, and while some term her look as too "boyish", they fail to see the creativity and uniqueness behind it. Even her hair, suits, capes, hats and red lips are all a major part of her signature and it works well on her.
